Command - Reserve Command Master Chief
Master Chief Boatswain’s Mate Michael Rosati currently serves as the Reserve Command Master Chief for USCG Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia, PA. He assumed this role in October 2018.
Upon completion of Basic Training in September 2000, Master Chief Rosati served on Active Duty on USCGC VIGOROUS, in Cape May, NJ; USCGC ANTHONY PETIT in Ketchikan, AK; USCG Station Manasquan Inlet in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ; and at MSST New York in Staten Island, NY. Upon transferring to the Reserve component, Master Chief Rosati has served at USCG Station Sandy Hook in Highlands, NJ and the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. His most recent assignment was as the Reserve Command Master Chief and Senior Enlisted Reserve Advisor at Base NCR, USCG Headquarters, Washington, DC.
Additional Reserve assignments have also included multiple summers aboard USCGC EAGLE where he served as the CMAA and taught nautical science/celestial navigation to Cadets and Officer Candidates; as the Deputy Logistics Section Chief for Sector New York in response to Hurricane SANDY; and to AUXOP Station Alpena, Michigan for the 2012 “Summer Stock” season.
Personal awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, two Achievement Medal’s with Operational Distinguish Device, the Reserve Medal with Mobilization Device, the Humanitarian Support Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. Qualification badges earned include the Coxswain Insignia and the Advance Boat Forces Qualification Insignia.
