Mission


Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans operates two MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters and supports a wide range of Coast Guard operations, to include Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement, Ports and Waterways Security, and Marine Environmental Protection. 

Located on the outskirts of the Crescent City, Air Station New Orleans’s area of responsibility extends from Apalachicola, Florida to the Louisiana/Texas border, and 200 nautical miles both North and South.
