Welcome aboard Coast Guard Cutter TAMPA! If you are a new shipmate reporting, we are thrilled to have you. If you are a guest, please enjoy your stay.

USCGC TAMPA is homeported in Portsmouth, VA. TAMPA regularly executes a variety of Coast Guard missions, to include Drug Interdiction, Search and Rescue, Living Marine Resources, and Migrant Interdiction. TAMPA is homeported alongside eight of her sister ships: BEAR, HARRIET LANE, NORTHLAND, SPENCER, SENECA, ESCANABA, FORWARD, and LEGARE.

TAMPA normally deploys for two to three months, followed by similar in-port periods. TAMPA routinely patrols in many exciting locations, including the Caribbean, Eastern Pacific, and Eastern Seaboard.
