Homeported in Newport, Rhode Island, USCGC JUNIPER’s area of responsibility spans from Cape Cod, Massachusetts to Sandy Hook, New Jersey. USCGC JUNIPER is responsible for a total of 188 aids to navigation. In addition to her primary mission of aids to navigation, USCGC JUNIPER also conducts maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, oil clean-up and recovery, and domestic icebreaking.
