USCGC MOBILE BAY (WTGB-103) History

Built by Tacoma Boatbuilding Company, CGC MOBILE BAY was launched on Veteran's Day, November 11, 1978 and was commissioned on September 2, 1979. The Barge was built by Marinette Marine Corporation, Marinette, WI. The Coast Guard accepted Barge 12002 on May 5, 1992.
