The U.S. Coast Guard Great Lakes is responsible for all Coast Guard operations throughout the five Great Lakes, the Saint Lawrence Seaway and parts of the surrounding states including 6,700 miles of shoreline and 1,500 miles of the international border with Canada. The 6,000 active duty, reserve, civilian and auxiliary men and women who make up the U.S. Coast Guard Great Lakes deliver multi-mission services in search and rescue, maritime safety and security, environmental protection, maritime law enforcement, aids to navigation and icebreaking.

#News-@USCG STA Sheboygan 29 RBS crew responded to a report of an overturned vessel along with Kewaunee Police and Fire in Kewaunee County. Kewaunee Fire recovered one individual and STA recovered the 2nd PIW in an unconscious state. Both were transferred to EMS for further care.

#Today- @USCG Station Oswego responded to a S/V with 7 POB that began taking on water after an allision in Oswego, NY.
