PREVENTION DEPARTMENT
The Prevention Department is responsible for USCG operations directed at preventing maritime casualties, accidents, and security incidents throughout the Sector St. Petersburg area of responsibility. This is accomplished through the enforcement of laws and regulations for commercial vessels and facilities, coupled with an extensive waterway management system.
