The mission of the Ninth Coast Guard District Legal Office is to:

• Provide expert legal counsel to achieve the operational goals of the Ninth District Commander.
• Provide the legal services our units need to most effectively accomplish Coast Guard missions.
• Provide legal assistance support to our people to maximize readiness. If you need legal assistance, please contact the D9 Legal office.
• Engage U.S. Attorneys and state prosecutor offices to support prosecutions that further Coast Guard missions and objectives.
