Coast Guard Station Belle Isle's missions include Search and Rescue, Maritime Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, Ice Rescue, Recreational Boating Safety, Military Readiness, and Environmental Response. Station Belle Isle's AOR is from the international border at 42-22.8N, thence southerly along the international border through the Detroit River to 41-00.0N, thence westerly to the shoreline at 41-00.0N, thence northerly along the shoreline to 42-23.7N, thence southerly to the point of origin.
