The mission of the Ninth Coast Guard District External Affairs Division is to facilitate proactive, well-designed outreach efforts that effectively provide our Coast Guard crews, media, and public and governmental stakeholders with a greater understanding of the broad range of Coast Guard missions, resources and capabilities throughout the Great Lakes system.
