LCDR Miller, Executive Officer
LCDR Miller reported to CAMPBELL in June 2022 from Sector Long Island Sound, where he served two years as the Assistant Logistics Department Head.
LCDR Miller’s previous assignments include Deck Watch Officer onboard USCGC MAPLE (WLB 207), Sitka, AK, from 2011-2013; Executive Officer onboard USCGC THUNDER BAY (WTGB 108), Rockland, ME, from 2013-2015; Professional Maritime Studies Instructor at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT, from 2015-2018, and Executive Officer onboard USCGC OAK (WLB 211), Newport, RI, from 2018-2020.
LCDR Miller is a native of Littlestown, PA and a 2011 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Government. Additionally, he holds a Master of Arts Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from the American Military University.
LCDR Miller's personal awards include two Coast Guard Commendation Medals, two Coast Guard Achievement Medals, the Commandant's Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar, and various team and unit awards.
