Lieutenant Williams attended Southeastern New Hampshire Christian Academy in Somersworth, NH. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force Reserve Chaplain Candidate Program in March 2007. Mr. Williams attended Commissioned Officer Training and the Chaplain Candidate Course at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL. As a Chaplain Candidate, he did training tours at various Air Force Bases in the south. Following seminary graduation, LT Williams reappointed as a Reserve Chaplain in April 2010 and was assigned to the 2d Bomb Wing at Barksdale AFB, LA.

Mr. Williams applied for active duty as a Navy Chaplain in the spring of 2011 and superseded to active duty in August 2011, reporting to Officer Development School at Officer Training Command Newport. Following graduation, LT Williams reported to the Naval Chaplaincy School and Center in Fort Jackson, SC for the Naval Chaplains Basic Course, the Religious Ministry Team Expeditionary (RMTEX) course, and the Tools, Empowerment and Ministry Skills (TEAMS) course. Upon graduation in November 2011, LT Williams reported to 1st Battalion, 12th Marines (1/12) as the Battalion Chaplain on board Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay (MCBH K-Bay). In June 2013, LT Williams was transferred to 2d Battalion, 3d Marines (2/3) as the Battalion Chaplain on board MCBH K-Bay in preparation for 2/3’s six-month deployment to Okinawa. He deployed with 2/3 in support of the Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa and supported exercises in the Republic of Korea. In October 2014, LT Williams reported to 3d Marine Regiment as the Deputy Regimental Chaplain responsible for training the Regimental Religious Ministry Teams. In May 2015, LT Williams reported to USCG Sector Charleston to serve as the Chaplain for Sector Charleston and Sector Jacksonville.

LT Williams holds a BS in History with concentrations in Political Science and Secondary Education from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

Chaplain Williams has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Mr. Williams married the former Jennifer Colleen David of Colorado Springs, CO on November 19, 2005. They have two sons, Kyle Patrick born on February 27, 2013 and Ryan David born on March 16, 2015. The family currently resides in Goose Creek, SC.
